Individuals planning to attend the Bowden Family Reunion are responsible for making their own lodging arrangements.  Undoubtedly some will opt to stay with relatives or friends, while others may require commercial lodging.

For those needing hotel accommodations, the Holiday Inn Express may provide suitable accommodations.     To obtain a room, reservations should be made directly with the Holiday Inn Express (704-986-2100).

If you plan to stay at the Albemarle Holiday Inn Express,  reservations must be made no later than Wednesday, June 15th in order to receive the group rate.  Rooms are held on a 1st-come, 1st-served basis.  For reservations call 704-986-2100. Ask for the “Bowden Family Reunion” rate, give  dates, and a confirmation number will be given to you. A major credit card is required to hold your reservation(s). Your credit card will only be authorized  upon arrival.

Group rate is $98 plus taxes. Total $110.74

The Albemarle Holiday Inn Express is a relatively new hotel, located in the heart of Stanly County and close to Morrow Mountain State Park and Uhwarrie State Park.  It is within walking distance of several restaurants and shopping facilities. All rooms have refrigerators, coffeemaker, iron-ironing boards, hair dryer, cable TV,  and complimentary internet access. The hotel has on-site guest laundry service, outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and business center.
